Designer's Vision:

"This Trapjaw figure was created by Dave Wolfram, senior manager of Mattel's Boy's Entertainment Design Group.  "One of my great pleasures over the last few years has been working closely with the Four Horsemen.  The first time I saw the Trapjaw sculpt, even in a rough state, I knew it would end up being one of my personal favorites.  I tried to have a little fun with the figure by finding some bones to simulate part of his missing arm and lower jaw, and hung them from his armor, and from around his neck.  Since the weapons on his arm are interchangeable, just like the toy, I built a rack into the base to display the ones that aren't currently in use," said Wolfram, who has the distinction of having been involved in the design of all three He-Man toy lines.  The figure is painted in a combination of acrylics, metallic, and oil paints.  "The figure is dedicated to Ed Watts, one of the most talented, and also one of the nicest guys that I know.  He was certainly a great inspiration to me when I stared at Mattel," Wolfram said."

The 13.5" figure was sculpted, casted and co-designed by the world renowned Four Horsemen.

The custom paint design was created by mattel Senior Design manager, Steed Sun.

The base was designed and casted by Mattel Master Modelmaker, Hank Miller.
